Commenting on the performance of the artists, the permanent representative gave a high assessment of their skills. “I appreciate the workmanship is very high – young, beautiful, talented boys,’ he said. – The role of the Tchaikovsky competition, music festivals as a unifying element is very important, it has been around for half a century, and it should be done in the future.”
On the stage of Carnegie hall featured the winners of the Tchaikovsky competition this year: the Grand Prix winner of the contest, Mongolian singer, baritone Einbauten Ganbaatar, winners of the first prize is a Russian singer Yulia Matochkina, the Romanian cellist Andrei Ionita and Russian pianist Dmitry Masleev.
