Vice-Governor of the Primorsky territory Alexey Sukhov met with the Governor of the Central aimag of Mongolia Dorji Barbata. The sides noted that the development of mutually beneficial relations have prospects.
VLADIVOSTOK, 26 Oct. The authority of the Central aimag of Mongolia invited the Maritime region to cooperate in the field of supply of meat and wool products, according to the administration of the province.
Vice-Governor of the Primorsky territory Alexey Sukhov met with the Governor of the Central aimag of Mongolia Dorji Barbata in a Summit on international exchange and cooperation of regional administrations of the countries Severo-East Asia.
“I think we it is reasonable to consider increasing the trade turnover between our regions. We, in turn, could offer the edge of the meat, products made from cashmere. It is necessary to count, what economic model would be effective and help our business to establish such cooperation,” said Dorji Barbata.
While trade and economic cooperation of the Primorsky territory Mongolia is not sufficiently developed, however, the prospects for development of mutually beneficial relations both sides. Sukhov said that the supply of meat and wool may be of interest to Maritime business.
Now Mongolia is implementing a project of sending coal to the Asia-Pacific region through the ports of Primorye territory. This project is being implemented with the participation of JSC “RZD”, representatives of Mongolian company “energy Resource” and Japanese company Sumitomo. In the future, the volumes of coal transportation on the TRANS-Siberian railway from Mongolia to the ports of Primorye may exceed 1 million tons per year.
