Rosneft is going to buy a petroleum terminal “Lavna” in Murmansk


Moscow. October 26. LLC “RN-Active” (part of Rosneft) has submitted to Federal Antimonopoly service the petition for acquisition of 100% of CJSC “Oil terminal “Lavna” in Murmansk, said in the message Department.

The FAS made a decision on prolongation of term of consideration of the petition for two months in connection with necessity of its additional consideration, and more information for decision making by results of consideration of the application.

CJSC “Oil terminal “Lavna” is owned by CJSC “Sintez petroleum” (enters into group “Synthesis”). In 2012, Rosneft acquired the group “Synthesis” 100% CJSC “Sintezneftegaz” and 50% of the company “Arktikshelfneftegaz”. “Sintezneftegaz” holds licenses for subsoil use for geological study Pahtusova and Admiralty areas in the Barents sea. “Arktikshelfneftegaz” holds the license for subsoil use with the purpose of search, exploration and production of hydrocarbons within the Medyn-Varandey section of the bottom of the Barents sea.
