Moscow. October 26. The Moscow arbitration court appointed on 3 November a preliminary hearing on the suit of JSC “Aeroflot – Russian airlines” about collecting from airline “Transaero” 5,592 billion rubles, said the materials on the court’s website.
As previously reported, on October 13, the Moscow Arbitration court registered a claim of “Aeroflot” “Transaero” with a demand to recover from last more than 5 billion rubles Later, the head of “Aeroflot” Vitaly Saveliev said that the company spends significant amounts for the transportation of passengers “Transaero”.
“Aeroflot is incurring significant expenses on the maintenance of flights of airline “Transaero”. We filed a lawsuit to claim the money that we already spent. We want to be in the queue of creditors just in case,” he said.
Earlier, the Russian government decided that the airline “Transaero” will be bankrupt after 1 October, the carrier has closed the sale of tickets.
