The Kremlin regrets the failure of London to conduct a dialogue

MOSCOW, October 26. The Kremlin regrets the failure of London to conduct any dialogue and argues that the resumption of contacts “the ball on the side of British colleagues”.

“Indeed, the political dialogue is stalled, and Russia was not the initiator of this freeze,” said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov. According to him, Moscow believes that “cooperation in countering modern threats that we face are issues related to the fight against terrorism, issues related to cross-border crime, – they require bilateral cooperation”.

“But the UK already for a long time from any contact and also refused frozen political dialogue”, – stated the representative of the Kremlin.

“We regret in this regard”, – said the press Secretary of the head of the Russian state.

He recalled that “at all levels, Russia has repeatedly expressed interest in the development of equal and mutually beneficial relations with all countries”. “But in this case the ball is absolutely on the side of our British colleagues”, – said Peskov.
