According to experts VTSIOM, the Russians positively estimate actions of the authorities in combating corruption, the effectiveness of this direction was larger than in previous years.

Sociologists note that, for example, in 2005 only 3% of respondents answered that the country has done a lot to combat corruption, another 27% believed that “the results are, but they are not significant”. In March 2015 these figures were, respectively, 11% and 39%, and October – 10 and 38%. Thus, conclude the experts VTSIOM, “some results of the activities of the authorities today about half of our fellow citizens – 48% (from 30% in 2005)”.

A third of respondents (33%) believe that the situation in the last year did not change (44% in 2005), and 13 percent say it has even deteriorated (10 years ago the figure was 21%).

Over half of our citizens (55%) still do not believe that such a phenomenon as corruption is, in principle, can be completely eradicated. Opposite opinion is shared by 40% of respondents: according to them, with some effort corruption is still possible to win
