MOSCOW, September 25. Russian aviation authorities have not yet received from Ukraine a notification on the ban of flights of airlines of the Russian Federation to Ukraine. About it reported in a press-service of the Ministry of transport.
“Official notification about a possible ban on flights of Russian airlines in Ukraine and the Russian aviation authorities have not received”, – noted in press service.
Aeroflot informs the passengers and explain the rules of refund for previously purchased tickets as soon as I get official notification from Ukraine regarding the prohibition of flights, have informed in a press-service “Aeroflot”.
“Aeroflot has not received official notification about the suspension of flights from the aviation authorities of Ukraine. According to international aviation rules prohibit flights to the country can only aeronautical authorities of that state. Once and if “Aeroflot” will receive official notification from the aviation authorities of Ukraine to cancel flights, the company will inform its passengers and explain the rules of refund for previously purchased tickets,” – said the press service.
Earlier it became known that Ukraine has banned Russian airlines “Aeroflot” and “Transaero” flights in the country. Banned all transit flights by Russian airlines over the territory of Ukraine.
Ukraine also banned the use of the software “Kaspersky Lab”.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree expanding the list of sanctions against Russia on September 16.
According to Poroshenko, the list of sanctions adopted by the Council of national security and defence of Ukraine (NSDC), included 388 individuals and 105 legal entities.
Then in the sanctions lists were “Aeroflot” and about 20 Russian airlines.
