Co-owner S7: shareholders of the group retain plans to buy Transaero


Media reported earlier about the release of a couple of Filevich purchase of “Transaero” because of the revocation of the air operator certificate of the carrier.

MOSCOW, 26 Jan. Shareholders of the group of airlines S7 (“Siberia”) retain plans to buy the airline “Transaero”, despite the revocation of the latest certificate of the operator, said co-owner of “Siberia” Natalia Fileva.

Earlier, several media outlets reported that the family Filewich came out of the deal on purchase of “Transaero”, since the company had cancelled the air operator certificate.

“We remain in the transaction, the transfer documents of shares are in the final stages of clearance,” said Fileva. She did not specify the expected date when the deal will be closed, citing the fact that the company’s lawyers.

Creditors “Transaero” has already started to apply for recognition the airline bankrupt. But last week it became known that at least a controlling stake in Transaero, plans to buy a controlling shareholder of the group of S7 airlines Vladislav Filev.
