NORRIS: building area in the Russian Federation to 2030 is expected to grow to 6.5 million hectares


The total area of land in the Russian Federation, allocated for construction by 2030 will increase to 6.5 million hectares, said at a press conference in MIA “Russia today” first Vice-President NORRIS Anwar Shamuzafarov.

MOSCOW, 27 Jan. The total area of land in the Russian Federation, allocated for construction by 2030 will increase to 6.5 million hectares, said at a press conference in MIA “Russia today” first Vice-President of the National Association of surveyors and designers (NORRIS) Anwar Shamuzafarov.

According to him, currently the size of built up areas is 3,47 million ha. “They must be increased in order for us to perform tasks that put the state, the President of Russia, these territories until 2030 should be increased about two times, should amount to 6.5 million hectares of land”, — he said.

Shamuzafarov also added that the ratio of the amount of land set aside for building, to the amount of built-up areas Russia lags behind European countries.
