Earlier, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree about the equipment of petrol stations (gas stations) charging columns for vehicles with electric motors. It was noted that the adopted decisions will allow petrol station owners to legally equip their station speakers and charger to provide recharging of vehicles with electric motors that in turn will create an incentive for the development of environmentally friendly transport in Russia.

As reported by rosseti, the company plans until the end of 2016 to open about 200 charging stations for electric vehicles in Moscow and more than 25 stations in St. Petersburg within implementation of national program of development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. In December 2014 rosseti has opened in St. Petersburg the first two filling stations for electric vehicles at the airport “Pulkovo” in the SEC “Gallery”, then they added another — on the territory of the Executive office “Lenenergo”. In Moscow the work is conducted in accordance with the program of “Moscow transport”, “rosseti”, implemented in partnership with the government of Moscow.
