SIMFEROPOL, 28 Oct. The Crimean authorities are preparing for the arrival of foreign delegations from Arab and European countries, including Iraq, Italy and Germany, said Vice-Premier of the Crimean government, the permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea under the Russian President Georgi Muradov.

“We are awaiting the arrival of several delegations. The desire to visit the Crimea have already expressed a number of Arab countries, including, perhaps, Iraqi representatives will come to us. In addition, the expected representatives from a number of EU member States such as Italy, Germany. I note that German parliamentarians and businessmen began to show much more activity than it was originally,” said Muradov.

In his opinion, the forthcoming visits will have not only political, but also economic importance because it will allow you to develop a whole range for the Crimean economy projects. Muradov stressed that the Crimea is open for visits of various foreign delegations, including from the United States.

“Crimea is open for the whole world, to all delegations who are our friends, of course, the enemies we are not welcome here, although that happens sometimes, when I visit some delegations, and then distort the whole situation”, — said Muradov.

He also noted that the head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov could go on an official visit to foreign countries, the matter is at the stage of approvals and agreements. “Such visits are planned, but it is premature to speak and to name the countries. These visits require certain approvals, arrangements, so to say I will not,” said Muradov.

Crimea and Sevastopol became part of Russia following the results of the March referendum in 2014. Reunification with Russia was supported by 96,77% of Crimeans and 95.6% of Sevastopol. The authorities of Ukraine and Western countries refused to recognize the decision and has imposed sanctions in the region.
