In Moscow the forum “Open innovations”


MOSCOW, October 28. /Corr.TASS Ekaterina Kazachenko/. The forum “Open innovations” starts Wednesday in Moscow. According to organizers, the forum will be attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The main difference of this year’s session will be an interactive format for the presentation and discussion of information. “This year the forum “Open innovations” will be more like Startup Village, than at the Petersburg forum it will become more lively and informal”, – said earlier the Chairman of the RF government Arkady Dvorkovich. “We hope that this is not just a conference and exhibition, and a place for live communication,” he said.

The forum, which runs until 1 November, 115 scheduled events, which will be attended by 12 thousand people, including 200 experts from around the world. The main theme of the forum is “Man at the crossroads of the trends of technological revolution”.

Also in the framework of the forum from October 29 to November 1, will show technologies “Open innovations”, which will showcase various inventions.

According to organizers, the forum will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, Minister of communications and mass media Nikolai Nikiforov and Minister of healthcare Veronika Skvortsova. It is expected that the forum will also visit the Serbian Prime Minister Alexander Vucic during his visit to Moscow.

Each of the five days of the forum will be devoted to one area of human life associated with innovation: productivity, habitat, education, health and entertainment. The event’s first day will be associated, including, with innovations in the field of engineering and energy, nanotechnology and information technology. In the second day will discuss “cities of tomorrow”, in particular, transport, construction and Finance, innovation and export. The theme of the third day will be the role of new technologies in medicine. The fourth and fifth days will be devoted respectively to innovation in education and the entertainment industry.

Main projects

Russian and foreign companies in the framework of the forum will present innovative projects in various fields. So, RUSNANO will show projects in biotechnology, energy and electronics, and the Fund of the Corporation will talk about their educational programs. In addition, on the forum, for example, will be presented to the system for personal rapid diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction and lower limb exoskeleton developed by Russian companies.

It is planned to sign several agreements, including on construction in SKOLKOVO engineering and R & d center of Japanese FANUC Corporation, working in the field of industrial automation, robotics and laser systems.

Also at the forum will discuss the future direction of import substitution in Russia. As previously stated Dvorkovich, will be considered the issues of restricting the procurement of foreign equipment in several areas, including Telecom, medicine, oil and gas industries.

A platform for live communication and new contacts

According to the organizers, this year’s forum will be held “without ties”. New style modern international technological Congress will be innovative formats for the presentation of projects and discussion of content. The head of RUSNANO Anatoly Chubais on the air of TV channel “Russia 24” stated that “Open innovation” is “and quite the business component, and human outdoor”.

The forum participants expect that it will help the development of Russian innovative economy. “In Russia there is now an emerging agenda for innovation development for the next 15-20 years. We’re talking about identifying new trends that are currently still in their infancy, but which already in ten years will shape the technology landscape of our lives,” – said General Director of “Russian venture company” Igor Agamirzyan.
