MOSCOW, 28 Oct. Russia remains open to innovative collaboration with all the interested partners, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
“I would like specially to emphasize that, in spite of all attendant circumstances, Russia is open to innovation and open to collaboration with anyone who interested in it,” he said at the forum “Open innovations”.
Relations between Russia and the West deteriorated in connection with the situation in Ukraine. At the end of July 2014, the EU and the U.S. announced sanctions against entire sectors of the Russian economy. In response, Russia in August 2014 restricted imports of food products from countries that have imposed sanctions against her. At the end of June 2015, in response to extension of sanctions imposed by the Russian authorities decided to extend the food embargo until 5 August 2016.
