Shares of Transaero airlines has risen by nearly 17%


In the early afternoon the shares of airlines rose on 12,11% to 10,55 ruble, the MICEX index was down 0.42%. Earlier it became known that shareholders expect S7 to the end of the week to obtain the property of the first 19% of actions “Transaero”.

MOSCOW, 28 Oct. Shares of Transaero continued to rise the previous day, and jumped almost 17% on expectations of market players buy the carrier company S7, follows from the data of the Moscow exchange.

By 10.30 Moscow time the shares of Transaero airlines rose on 12,11% to 10,55 ruble (already up by 16.9% to 11 rubles), while the MICEX index decreased by 0.42%.

On Tuesday, a source close to the deal said that shareholders of the S7 group’s plan to the end of the week to obtain the property of first 19% stake in the airline “Transaero”, and then submit a request to the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of the Russian Federation on approval of this transaction.

Also on Tuesday it became known that the Board of Directors of “Transaero” dismissed General Director Dmitry Saprykin and appointed to the post of Deputy flight Director of “Aeroflot Russian airlines” Valery Zaitsev.
