“They (Iran) proposed scheme: the grain in dairy products, fish, meat,” – he explained.

Turkey offers meat, dairy products, fish and eggs, added Alekseenko.

This issue is beyond the scope of authority of the Agency, so the discussion will continue to occur at the level of the Ministry of economic development, Ministry of Finance and the intergovernmental Commission.

“We take out this question on broader grounds, such as the meeting of the intergovernmental Commission. There this question is quite sizable,” – said the assistant Manager.

The proposal for waiver of calculation in dollars were also received from China and India, he added.

“We receive proposals from different countries that we should switch to payments in national currencies, or use a netting of goods – i.e. barter. We have held negotiations in Tehran, Ankara, new Delhi, Beijing and so on. I think it’s a decent enough scheme to ensure stability,” said Alekseenko.
