USDA: grain harvest in Russia will approach the record of 2014

Today in Russia removed to 105.5 million tons of grain export this year will be about 30 million tons, said the Deputy head of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergey Levin.

SHARM EL SHEIKH, 28 Oct. The grain harvest in Russia in 2015 year will be close to one of the record levels of last year, when it was collected 105.3 million tons of grain, said Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergey Levin.

“Last year we had a record harvest, more than 105 million tons, the export rate has exceeded 30 million tons. This year to date, we have removed the weight before processing to 105.5 million tons, it most likely means that our harvest this year will eventually approach last year’s,” said Levin, speaking at the International grain conference in Egypt.

He added that exports this year will reach about 30 million tonnes. Previously the Ministry of agriculture reported that the harvest of grain in net weight in 2015 will reach 100 and 101 million tons.
