Operating loss of the group in July-September of the current year amounted to 3,48 billion euros against a profit of 3.23 billion euros in the same period last year. Thus, for the first time Volkswagen has recorded a quarterly loss for the last 15 years. Write-off of the company in connection with the “diesel” scandal amounted to 6.7 billion euros.

Revenue from sales increased from 48.9 billion euros in 2014 to 51.5 billion euros in the current. Physical volume of production decreased from 2,404 million cars to 2,125 million

Assessment by Volkswagen, profits by the end of 2015 is expected below previous year’s level.
