The law on restoration and protection of savings of citizens provides for the restoration of their savings “frozen” during the “Pavlovsk” reforms of 1991.
MOSCOW, 29 Oct. The Russian government plans to extend the program of compensations on deposits of Russians in the state insurance organisations, open until 1991, follows from the draft decree of the government of the Russian Federation, posted on the website regulation.gov.
The program ended in 2015, now renewed it for another year.
It is, in particular, “the Russian state insurance company” and societies of system of Rosgosstrakh.
With the adoption by the state Duma in 1995 of the law on restoration and protection of savings of citizens the state has pledged to rebuild savings, “frozen” during the “Pavlovsk” reforms of 1991. The document assumed that the deposits will be converted to government securities.
It is planned that the regulation will enter into force on 1 January 2016.
