The head of “Mechel” reported on the proposals to sell the company


Moscow. October 29. The owner of “Mechel” Igor Zyuzin there are several proposals for the sale of “Mechel”. He told about it in interview to TV channel “Russia-24”.

“We have several offers of partnership and sale of business. We are studying them very carefully,” said he.

However, to part with the company Zyuzin is not ready yet. “Not yet,” he replied to the question about possible sale of “Mechel”.

Speaking about the funding and the involvement of the partner in one of the main assets of “Mechel”, “Elgaugol”, he said: “Maybe makes sense for someone to take in partners. Depends on what conditions are offered by the partners”.

“Mechel” has an open credit line with VEB limit of up to $2 billion to Fund “Elgauglja” for a period of 12 years, said Zyuzin.

According to him, relations of the group “Mechel” with creditor banks (Sberbank, VTB and Gazprombank) have changed for the better.

“I think that relationship has improved, we are working constructively with the banks. We are negotiating with him for many months and already are moving quietly to the issue,” said Zyuzin.
