The Ministry of justice has excluded the NGO “Soldiers’ mothers of St. Petersburg” registered as a foreign agent


MOSCOW, October 29. The Ministry of justice of Russia has excluded from the list of NCOs performing the function of a foreign agent, the regional public human rights organization “Soldiers’ mothers of St. Petersburg”. This is stated on the Ministry’s website.

Organization excluded from the register on 23 October in connection with “the termination of the functions of a foreign agent” that is reported there.

Last week it became known that “Soldiers’ mothers of St. Petersburg” will receive the presidential grant in the amount of 2.7 million rubles on the project to increase “personal responsibility for the observance of human rights in the Russian army through legal education, monitoring human rights violations in the army, the provision of free qualified legal, psychological and social assistance to citizens”.
