The decline in oil prices, fluctuations in the exchange rate and adverse market conditions have forced a number of Serbian companies to cut supplies of its products to the Russian market, is marked in materials to the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Serbian PM Alexander Vucic.

NOVO-Ogaryovo, 29 Oct. Adverse market conditions have forced some Serbian companies to cut supplies to the Russian market, volume of trade decreased, as the materials for the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Serbian PM Alexander Vucic.

As noted in the materials, the foreign trade turnover of Russia and Serbia in January-August of 2015, according to the FCS of the Russian Federation, amounted to 1.01 billion dollars, which is lower than the same period last year.

“The main reasons for the reduction in the volume of trade began a sharp decline in world energy prices, significant fluctuations of the ruble and the contraction of the import opportunities of Russia. Adverse market conditions have forced some Serbian companies to cut supplies of its products to the Russian market.
