The Agency was established to address issues to ensure the Far East investment projects and human resources. It will be headed by former assistant Minister for development of the region.
VLADIVOSTOK, 30 Oct. The Director General of the Agency for the development of human capital assigned to Valentin Timakov, who was earlier an assistant of the Minister of the Russian Federation on development of the Far East, according to the Ministry.
Previously, he held leadership positions in the field of personnel management and business development in companies such as NPF Telecom-Soyuz (group O1), FSUE Post of Russia, OJSC ANK Bashneft, IBM Russia/ Eastern Europe, En+ Group Ltd, OAO SUEK, Liggett-Ducat, Phillip Morris.
“In his new position, Valentin Timakov will be responsible for the practical implementation of one of priority directions of a new socio-economic policy implemented in the far East — providing labor resources for investors and residents of priority development areas, Free port of Vladivostok and other promising projects”, — stated in the message.
The purpose of the Agency, established by decree of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, is the solution of the issues of supplying the far Eastern Federal district investment projects and human resources, achieving positive migration dynamics due to the additional influx of population.
As noted by the Minister for Far East development Alexander Galushka, the Agency established in September of this year, is modern and compact mechanism, capable to provide qualitative personnel investment projects in the macro-region. According to Timakova, each customer Agency will receive personalized support on attracting, assessing, retaining, and administration staff. Investors will be able to obtain from the Agency information about the labor market and wages in the region, operating on the territory of social benefits and guarantees; services of recruitment and training of personnel, assistance in solving of housing and social infrastructure.
