DUSHANBE, 30 Oct. The situation of the Russian economy, despite the crisis phenomena in the world, in a sustainable and predictable, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
“Naturally, these processes affect the situation in our countries. Russia has to counter the negative influence of such factors as falling oil prices, sanctions, external pressure, closure of capital markets and technology. But we have a clear plan of action. Thanks to its consistent implementation, the position of the Russian economy today is stable and predictable,” Medvedev said at a meeting of the Council of heads of governments of the CIS in Dushanbe.
According to him, today in the world economy is undergoing profound transformation. “They are accompanied by crises in both developed and developing countries. And the latter problem lead to more tangible consequences,” he said.
He recalled how badly the global financial market and economy of some the CIS countries reacted to the fluctuations of Chinese stock indices and devaluation of the yuan.
