MOSCOW, October 30. Russia plans to spend on its Armed forces in 2016, more than 2.2 trillion rubles. This is stated in the conclusion of the Duma Committee on defence, published in electronic database of the lower house of Parliament.
According to the document, the Russian Armed forces in 2016 it is planned to spend 2,233 trillion rubles, which is 176,674 million less than it spent this year. In 2015, this expenditure was spent 2,410 trillion rubles.
It is also noted that on the section “national defense” in 2016 it is planned to spend 3,145 trillion rubles.
The cost of BC will be of 82.5% of the overall budget on national defense.
According to the draft, Russia plans next year to increase spending on scientific research in the field of national defence.
The draft budget is meant to increase spending on “Applied scientific research in sphere of national defense” 4% to 311,181 billion rubles 298,36 billion rubles in 2015.
