The owner of S7 airlines Vladislav Filev has confirmed that it plans to acquire a controlling stake in Transaero. The businessman notes that the company can recover in six months.
MOSCOW, 30 Oct. Raiffeisenbank conducts negotiations with the owner of S7 airlines Vladislav Filev on possible Bank participation in the debt restructuring “Transaero” as a consultant, said the representative of the credit institution.
Filev on Friday confirmed that it plans to acquire a controlling stake in Transaero, decorated it himself. In his estimation, the operating carrier can be restored within half a year.
“At the moment the Bank holds talks with new shareholder on a possible participation in the restructuring,” — said the press service.
Earlier on Friday held a meeting of creditors of “Transaero” with the new top management of the airline. The meeting was attended by the specialist o, which told the story of a successful debt restructuring S7 with the participation of a credit organization. On the sidelines he said that now advises Fileva.
The head of the International financial club (IFC) Oksana Lyphard in his speech at the meeting suggested that Raiffeisenbank may become a consultant on debt restructuring “Transaero”.
The new management of Transaero airlines on Friday announced that it has begun to develop a business plan, which should take the company into positive financial results.
