According to the auction, the price of December futures for North sea petroleum mix of mark Brent rose for 49,54, on light WTI — 46,57 dollars per barrel.
MOSCOW, 30 Oct. World oil prices are rising on Friday amid data on the number of working drilling rigs in the USA from Baker Hughes, the price of Brent during the auctions have exceeded a mark in 50 dollars per barrel, according to AFP.
As at 21.33 GMT the cost of December futures for North sea petroleum mix of mark Brent has grown on 1,37% — to 49,47 dollars per barrel, while previously it for the first time since October 19, has exceeded 50 dollars per barrel. The price of futures on WTI increased by 0,90% to 46,48 dollars per barrel.
As shown by the data of the American oil and gas service company Baker Hughes, total rig count in the States at the end of the working week was reduced by 12 units, or 1.52%, and amounted to 775 units. In annual terms, this figure dropped to 1154, or 59,8%.
While the number of oil rigs decreased by 16 units, or 2,69%, to 578 units, the lowest since June 2010. The number of gas rigs increased by 4 points, or 2.07%, to 197 units.
