The boundaries of the sea port of Vanino in the Khabarovsk territory expanded


MOSCOW, 31 Oct. Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree, which expanded the boundaries of the sea port of Vanino in the Khabarovsk territory for the construction of marine coal terminal, said in the text of the document posted on the website of the Cabinet on Saturday.

“Approved the decision to expand the sea port of Vanino in order to implement a new investment project for the construction of marine coal terminal in the area of Cape Rough”, — stated in the help document.

It is noted that the cost of construction of marine coal terminal is more than 11 billion rubles, while the planned capacity — 15 million tons. The project is being implemented on a public-private partnership.

In help it is underlined that the decision will contribute to the creation of new transshipment facilities and additional jobs in the region.
