MOSCOW, October 31. The government of the Russian Federation established borders of seaport of Sevastopol, thus bringing its status into line with Russian legislation. As reported on Thursday on the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers, the document sets the boundaries of the port “in the part of the area within which the state regulation of activities in the port.”

In the water area of the port of Sevastopol included seven sections, which consist of waters in the Sevastopol Bay with a channel and a bucket of Black river, in the Bay Reed, the waters in the Eastern part of the Bay of Balaklava, operational water area near berth passenger local lines, anchorage.
The navigation period in the port is year – round. The main cargo is grain, ferrous metals, scrap metal, freight ferries, petroleum products, sand, is spoken in the message.
“The decision is aimed at bringing the legal status of the port in accordance with the legislation of Russia”, – the document says.

The government also approved the expansion of the sea port of Vanino in order to implement the project for construction of marine coal terminal in the area of Cape Stormy.
The total project cost is more than 11 billion roubles, including 260 million rubles – the Federal budget and 10.8 billion rubles – funds of the investor – OOO “far Eastern Vanino port”.
The planned terminal capacity is 15 million tons of coal. The composition of the planned facilities include a pier for handling coal and approaching the flyover to him.
“The decision is aimed at the development of port infrastructure in the far East, the creation of new transshipment facilities and additional jobs in the region”, – the document says.
