Novak: gas supplies to China will be discussed at the intergovernmental Commission on 16 November


The Russian-Chinese intergovernmental Commission intends to discuss in Beijing the issues of bilateral cooperation in fuel and energy complex, oil and gas complex, nuclear power, and aluminum industry. Contract speech does not go yet, said Minister of energy Alexander Novak.

MOSCOW, 31 Oct. The issue of Russian gas supplies to China will be considered within the framework of the intergovernmental Commission on November 16, representatives of “Gazprom” also will participate in the discussion, said the Minister of energy Alexander Novak.

“Gas supplies will be discussed,” said Novak, responding to a question. He noted that the contract speech does not go yet. This issue is discussed at the company level.

Novak found it difficult to name the possible term of signing of the agreement on Russian gas supplies. “Representatives “Gazprom” will participate in the discussion,” the Minister added.
