“We reaffirm that as a precaution, and in connection with the accident of the Russian plane entered the regime of flight in which the aircraft Air France will be selected routes outside the territory of the Sinai Peninsula,” said a company representative.

He stressed that Air France is closely monitoring the situation” that arose as a result of the crash. “The safety of passengers and crew is absolute priority”, said Air France.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, the representative of the German airline Lufthansa, this airline also “agreed to avoid flying over this area (Sinai – approx.TASS), until you find out the causes of the crash (Russian airliner)”.

Later the representative of airline has informed interviewer, what Lufthansa has decided to fly around the Sinai Peninsula.

“I can confirm the relevant information. For security reasons we decided to avoid flying over the Sinai until then, until the cause of the crash (Russian aircraft)”, – she said. “It is about those flights, the route of which was planned to pass directly above the Peninsula,” – said the representative of Lufthansa. The airline is in close contact with the competent authorities.
