MOSCOW, November 1. Operational work at the crash site of a Russian airliner A321 in Egypt began for the Russian foreign Ministry in Vienna, after multilateral meetings on Syria. This was told on air of TV channel “Russia 1” the official representative of the Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“On Saturday the burden of responsibility and this step (meeting on Syria ended), and here we get the first reports that the plane disappeared from radar… From the first minutes, despite the fact that mentally we were still here in Syrian the process… Here in Vienna, with wheels, already begins work on Egypt… Contacted Moscow, Cairo,” – said Zakharov.
The A321 aircraft to the Russian airline “Kogalymavia” carrying out flight 9268 Sharm El-Sheikh to St Petersburg, crashed on 31 October after about half an hour after departure, 100 km South from the administrative centre of province Northern Sinai city of El Arish, near the settlement of El Hasna. In total the plane was 217 passengers and seven crew members. According to the authorities of Egypt, none of them survived. Most of the passengers were Russians. Also on Board were four citizens of Ukraine and one – Belarus.
