The diplomat expressed the hope that the companies “will take advantage of the holding 2-7 November in Baghdad’s Russian-Iraqi business forum, organized by the Russian-Arab business Council and chamber of Commerce of Iraq”.

To the question on how to move the negotiations on the entry of LUKOIL in the project “Nasiriyah” in Iraq, the diplomat said: “this is a very ambitious and complex project. In discussing the various aspects of its realization there are lots of kinds of issues that need to be agreed in advance. In this case, it is appropriate to say that it is better to spend more time on preliminary discussions on further mutual steps than to decide something “in haste”.
