Gas production in Russia for 10 months has decreased to 511 billion cubic meters


Compared with the same period natural gas production decreased by 2.2%. In October of 2015 in Russia produced 60,756 billion cubic meters of gas.

MOSCOW, 2 Nov. Gas production in Russia for 10 months of 2015 decreased compared with the same period last year 11,611 billion cubic meters (2,2%) to 510,657 billion cubic meters, according to data of the Central dispatching Department of fuel energy complex (CDU TEK).

In October 2015, the country produced 60,756 billion cubic meters of natural gas.

Data on the extraction of “Gazprom” as a separate line in the reports CDU TEK published, an indicator of Russia’s largest gas company of hiding in the line “other mining companies as including “Gazprom” estimated”. In January-October 2015 other mining companies have extracted 373,316 billion cubic meters in October — 46,251 billion cubic meters.

NOVATEK is the second largest gas producer in Russia, according to CDU TEK for 10 months produced 42,902 billion cubic meters; Rosneft — 34,792 billion cubic meters; LUKOIL 15,626 billion cubic meters; Surgutneftegaz — of 7.920 billion cubic meters, “Gazprom oil” — 10,283 billion cubic meters.

Operators of agreements on production sharing (PSA) in January-October produced 22,168 billion cubic meters of gas.
