Medvedev signed a decree on monitoring of public procurement


SLIDES, 2 Nov. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree, which determines the procedure for conducting Federal Corporation for the development of small and medium enterprises monitoring of procurement by state-owned companies.

“I signed a decree which defines the modalities of that Corporation monitoring those purchases that make the state of the company. It’s no secret that they have a huge volume of purchases and quite often a limited number of suppliers. And we are interested in around the large companies, generally large businesses, public or private, that has such values, always focused and developed small and medium-sized enterprises, as is the case throughout the world,” Medvedev said at a meeting with Deputy Prime Ministers, noting that this is an innovative, high tech products and medicines.

“So here in this case, the Corporation will be able to more effectively monitor compliance with the share of small and medium business established standards in procurement by state — owned companies,” he said.

Another document signed by Medvedev approves the placement plans and schedules procurement for state and municipal needs in the Unified information system.
