As at 19.10 GMT, the Euro against the dollar rose to 1,1034 with 1,1007 dollar dollar per Euro on the previous closing. The dollar exchange rate to yen has grown to of 120.7 yen per dollar with 120,62 yen per dollar on Friday.

MOSCOW, 2 Nov.The dollar is slightly lower against Euro after the publication of data on business activity in industrial sector of the USA, according to AFP.

As at 19.10 GMT, the Euro against the dollar rose to 1,1034 with 1,1007 dollar dollar per Euro on the previous closing. The dollar exchange rate to yen has grown to of 120.7 yen per dollar with 120,62 yen per dollar on Friday. The dollar index (the dollar against a basket of six currencies of countries — major U.S. trading partners) decreased by 0.07% to 96,76 item.

American Institute for supply management (Institute for Supply Management, ISM) reported Monday that the index of business activity in the industry of the USA (ISM Manufacturing) in October fell to 50.1% from September’s reading of 50.2%. Thus, despite the reduction, the data were better than forecasts of analysts, who expected decrease of the indicator to 50%.

“Obviously, the growth in the sector is not strong. Perhaps companies prefer to wait to see how the situation will develop before you start to increase employment,” commented data the expert of the Institute for supply management’s Bradley Holcomb (Holcomb Bradley), quoted by Bloomberg.
