The head of the Crimean Parliament refused to receive a salary and travel allowance


The head of the state Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov stated that they have enough of their means of subsistence, therefore, from 1 November 2015, he has waived the accrual and payment of travel expenses.

SIMFEROPOL, 2 Nov. Chairman of the state Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov made the decision following the salary to cancel the receipt of funds for travel expenses.

Earlier it was reported that Konstantinov in October made the decision to save public funds and to abandon their salaries from November 1.

“The Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov wrote a statement about refusal from 1 November 2015 from accrual and payment of travel expenses”, — reports a press-service of regional Parliament.

In particular, the statement says that from that date the speaker will not be paid travel expenses, including per diem, travel expenses, rented accommodation and other costs.

Konstantinov also previously reported that they have enough of their means of existence.
