MOSCOW, 3 Nov. Stock markets in the Asia-Pacific region (APR) show a predominantly positive trend on Tuesday, correcting up lower on weak statistics on industrial production in China, according to data exchanges.

As at 06.50 GMT the index of Shanghai stock exchange Shanghai Composite grew by 0.02% to 3325,67 item. Index of Shenzhen stock exchange Shenzhen Composite index grew by 0.41% to 1996,07 item. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index increased by 1.38% to 22679,18 item.

The Australian S&P/ASX 200 grew by 1.17%, reaching 5226,10 item. Korean KOSPI rose by 0.54%, reaching 2046,26 item. The Japanese Nikkei 225 has decreased on 2,10%, to 18683,24 item.

According to an independent survey Caixin and Markit Economics, the index of business activity (PMI) in the industrial sector of China in October amounted to 48.3 points versus 47.2 points in September. Thus, according to the State statistical Bureau of China, the PMI in manufacturing sector of China in October amounted to 49.8 points. A value above 50 indicates growth in activity, lower — its decline.

Statistics data on Monday led to lower Asian and European stocks. However, on Tuesday, the index returned to growth within the correction, writes Reuters.
