Obama hopes that Congress will in time resolve on the U.S. budget

WASHINGTON, 2 Nov. U.S. President Barack Obama hopes that the Congress following the budget agreement in 2016 will be finalized before December 11, the funding of the Federal government that would avoid the stop of its work.

Obama on Monday signed the law on budget for 2016, which, however, does not define all the necessary parameters of financing of the Federal government. Existing regulations end on December 11. If an agreement with Congress on these issues is reached in time, the Federal government will suspend work of several institutions and there will come so-called “shat down”, as it was the last time in 2013.

“I’m sure they (legislators) can do their work on time. There is no better gift for Christmas for Americans because it will give stability and allow the economy to grow,” said Obama at the signing ceremony of the budget for 2016.

Previously, Obama had to sign a special law, ordered the funding of the Federal government until December 11. Then throughout October, the administration and the Congress conducted difficult negotiations on the budget of the country, the result of which overall can be regarded as a victory for Democrats and moderate Republicans. Budget is also a serious blow to both parties on the conservative-libertarian wing of the Republicans, who repeatedly has in the past been able to arrange the budget or the debt crisis in the attempts to counteract internal and external policies of Obama.
