Moscow. November 3. Volkswagen has denied the accusations of the US authorities of falsification obespecenie software for some models of Audi and Porsche, according to Reuters.

Previously the Agency for environmental protection (EPA) stated that the company installed on the cars of poor quality software that allows you to circumvent the emissions of harmful substances. We are talking about cars with three-liter diesel engine. In particular, VW Touareg 2014 model year, Porsche Cayenne 2015 model year, and Audi A6 Quattro, A7 Quattro, A8 and Q5 model year 2006. According to EPA, carbon dioxide emissions about nine times higher than allowable standards.

In Volkswagen announced that the on these engines have not installed any software that could “change the characteristics of the emissions is prohibited.”

In September it became known that in diesel engines, model EA 189 Volkswagen was installed, which allowed to reduce the recorded amount of pollutants emitted into the atmosphere during the tests. In connection with this, Volkswagen is going to recall about 11 million vehicles. In addition, the company offers the fines of government agencies in many countries and hundreds of trials in the private sector.

Analysts of the rating Agency Moody’s believe that the minimum cost Volkswagen in connection with the “diesel” scandal will amount to 9.5 billion Euro by the end of 2017, a maximum of 31 billion euros.
