Putin and the Emir of Kuwait, on 10 November, will discuss issues of cooperation and international agenda

MOSCOW, November 3. At the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s 9-11 November in Russia with the visit of the Emir of Kuwait Sabah al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the press service of the Kremlin.

“November 10 will be held in Sochi, Putin Al-Sabah, during which it is planned to discuss key aspects of Russian-Kuwaiti cooperation. Priority will be given to the expansion of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic sphere, – noted in press service. – Assumes a thorough exchange of views on topical issues of the international agenda, particularly the situation in the Middle East and North Africa”.

Recently the Russian leader is conducting a series of personal contacts and telephone conversations with representatives of the regions of the middle East and Gulf countries, the main topic being the situation in Syria. In particular, in October Putin spoke several times on the phone with the king of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud, talked with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Jordan’s king Abdullah II. Also, the President of the Russian Federation in Sochi on October 11 held a meeting with crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, and on October 20 met in Moscow the President of Syria Bashar Assad.
