KALININGRAD, 4 Nov. Low-budget airline “Victory” (subsidiary of “Aeroflot”) will begin on Wednesday daily flights on the new route Moscow (Vnukovo) — St Petersburg (“Pulkovo”), the flights will be operated until 26 March 2016 twice a day.
“Date of commencement of flight was not chosen accidentally: the Day of national unity implies the proximity of all Russian citizens. Therefore on 4 November the aircraft “Victory” will link Kaliningrad, the Russian exclave, to the capital. To open regular flights to Kaliningrad used to be impossible, as for overflight of other countries require a permit for international flights. Only at the beginning of October the Ministry of justice registered the order of Ministry of transport, abolishing the mandatory two-year experience of flights by Russian airlines, whose founder is the company with the international tolerance.
