A source in the Russian foreign Ministry: Moscow urges not to do hasty conclusions about the causes of the collapse of the A321

MOSCOW, November 5. Russia calls to wait for completion of the investigation and not jump to conclusions about the reasons for the crash of the Russian airliner in the Sinai. This was stated by a source in the Russian foreign Ministry.

“It is premature to draw conclusions regarding the investigation into the crash of a Russian airliner in the Sinai, said the source. – We are against hasty assessment that it was a terrorist act. We have no such information”.

“We need to wait until the end of the investigation, and to speculate on this matter believe it is incorrect”, – noted the source.

“All versions are equal”

The head EMERCOM of Russia Vladimir Puchkov told journalists that covers all versions of the cause of the crash. “All the procedures are technical and technological, all versions are considered, they are absolutely equal,” said Puchkov. In his words, to expand the area of search works on a place of wreck of Russian plane A321 is not planned, the current 40 square kilometers is enough.

“Absolutely enough. We at the first stage examined carefully 10-12 square kilometers, then gradually expanded the search area up to 30 square kilometers, and now to 40. At the end of the day we completed the entire survey area of 40 square kilometers tomorrow and additionally examining all the remains the terrain and all the possible locations of individual fragments of the plane,” he said.

“Search and rescue operation is planned to be completed in the next few days”, – said Puchkov.

As the catastrophe happened

The A321 aircraft to the Russian airline “Kogalymavia” carrying out flight 9268 Sharm El-Sheikh to St Petersburg, crashed on 31 October after about half an hour after departure. November 1 was declared in Russia by day of mourning.

In total the plane was 217 passengers and seven crew members. All were killed, the majority of passengers were Russians. On Board were also four Ukrainian citizens and one Belarusian.
