MOSCOW, November 5. The Kremlin believes the friendly leadership of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the ranking of the most influential people in the world by Forbes magazine, however, emphasize that the Russian leader himself calmly to such publications.
“He (Putin) himself has repeatedly stated its attitude to the ratings”, – said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov. “He (Putin) said that if you follow the ratings, there will be neither time nor opportunity to do actual work”, – said the representative of the Kremlin. “In line with the said President and refers (to the final rating)”, – he added.
“However, certainly, the activity of the President now on the world stage comes at a very high speed; this requires regional and international situation”, – said Sands. “And in this case, it (the leadership in the ranking) is pretty clear”, – said the press Secretary of the President.
Yesterday Forbes magazine published its own annual ranking of the most influential people in the world. Putin has headed it for the third time in a row.
Second place went to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the third President of the United States Barack Obama. In addition to Putin, Russia in the ranking are three people: the President of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin (47), the head of “Gazprom” Alexey Miller (54th place) and businessman Alisher Usmanov (67).
