Putin signed a law extending the term of accountability of NGOs-imagenow

MOSCOW, November 4. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed a bill that increases from three months to one year the limitation period of bringing to administrative responsibility for violation of the order of non-profit organizations (NPOs) that performs the functions of a foreign agent. This was reported Wednesday on the Kremlin website.

The President also conferred on judges of district courts the right to consider cases on administrative offenses under articles 19.34 (violation of a non-profit organization performing functions of a foreign agent) and 20.31 (violation of rules of conduct spectators when conducting official sports competitions) of the administrative code.

The law would be passed by the Parliament on 23 October and approved by the Federation Council on October 28.
