Russian network “Rostik’s” restaurants have closed in Ukraine

KIEV, November 4. Russian network “Rostik” closed all of its restaurants in Ukraine. This week closed the last institution T. G. I. Friday’s, and all the phone numbers of the Ukrainian representative office have been disconnected, writes the edition “LigaBusinessInform”.

This is the second restaurateur from Russia, who decided to leave Ukraine. At the end of may in Kiev, was closed chain of five Japanese restaurants “Yakitoriya”.

“Rosinter restaurants” – the largest restaurant network in Russia. According to the official website of the company, as at 30 September this year, it operated a network of 325 restaurants in 39 cities in Russia and abroad. Institutions operating under such brands as IL Patio, planet Sushi, T. G. I. Friday’s, Costa Coffee, “Shikari”, “American bar and grill”.

Of the remaining institutions in Kiev with the Russian owners of – network “Shokoladnitsa”, “Coffee house”, “Tanuki”, a restaurant Eshak.

According to the Association of the restaurant business of Kyiv, this year alone were closed in the capital 90 restaurants. In 2014 in Ukraine due to the economic crisis stopped working every third restaurant. By December there was 15,2 thousands of functioning institutions, while in 2013 there were more than 20 thousand.
