Rural shops in the Vologda region will receive tax relief

The government of the Vologda region intends to introduce a preferential tax regime for retail outlets located in rural areas of the Vologda region, said the representative of the press service of the regional government.

VOLOGDA, 6 Nov. The government of the Vologda region intends to introduce a preferential tax regime for retail outlets located in rural areas of the Vologda region, said the representative of the press service of the regional government.

“Benefits will apply to stores located in rural settlements, except in district centers. Currently, such objects there are almost fifteen hundred, more than a third of which are owned by private entrepreneurs”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

He noted that special taxation regimes have been developed by the government after consultation with representatives of the business community, public organizations and the Association of municipalities of the region.

“In the first place, it comes to convenience stores in rural areas. For these objects will be set to the minimum rate of property tax in the amount of 0.2% of the cadastral value. Starting in 2017, it will increase, but not more than 0.2% annually for nine years. This will help us to support commercial enterprises in rural areas”, — said the Governor of the Vologda region Oleg Kuvshinnikov.
