The Deposit insurance Agency will pay depositors the “Eurocommerce” about 9.3 billion rubles

Moscow. On 5 November. The Agency for Deposit insurance (DIA) will pay depositors deprived of the license of the Moscow Bank “Eurocommerce” about 9.3 billion rubles. According to the registry of liabilities of the credit institution, the refund can go about 24,7 thousand of its clients, including 120 customers who had accounts for business activity for the sum of 7,4 million roubles, it is told in message ASV.

Compensation on deposits will be paid in 20 subjects of the Russian Federation. In Moscow and the Moscow region for payment in the amount of about 5.6 billion rubles can apply $ 8.8 thousand depositors, in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic for the benefit of about $ 1.1 billion – about 9.5 thousand depositors.

Receiving relevant statements and payments will be made from 6 November 2015 7 November 2016 with the previously selected agents. As reported, clients who had accounts not for business, can apply to Sberbank of Russia, and customers who had accounts for business – Svyaz-Bank.

The Bank of Russia withdrew the license of “Eurocommerce” from 23 October. Credit institution found a significant underestimation of credit risks and the submission of false statements, and appropriate credit risk assessment on the request of the Supervisory authority revealed a total loss of the capital of the Bank, noted in the message of the CBR.

In addition, the Bank failed to comply with the requirements of the legislation and Bank of Russia regulations in the field of combating money laundering. Internal control rules did not meet the requirements of regulatory acts of the CBR, the Bank’s activity has been focused on the questionable conduct of transit operations on a large scale.

The Bank “Eurocommerce” in the first three quarters of 2015 was ranked 235th place in terms of assets in ranking “Interfax-100” prepared “Interfax-CEA”.
