Rosaviatsia recommended that the staff of “Transaero” to resign from the company

Moscow. November 9. Rosaviatsia at a meeting on the issue of employment of employees of Transaero has recommended to Deputy Director General of the airline Leonid Kligerman in a short time to inform the entire staff of “Transaero” on the necessity of dismissal.

“In conditions when withdrawn the air operator certificate of the airline, hope for the resumption of the activities of “Transaero” it is inexpedient”, – stated in the message of Agency.

“The meeting noted the destructive role of some of the owners of Russian airlines, which in September 2015 made irresponsible statements in the media about the prospects of further functioning of Transaero displaying misleading the workers of the airline”, – stated in it.

Rosaviatsia believes that public misinformation and the staff of “Transaero” put them in the factually unsubstantiated hopes for a continued operating activity of the carrier.

The Agency notes that on 3 September this year, the owners and top managers of “Transaero” completely withdrew from the solution of the problems of the carrier. “To date, the airline “Transaero” 9,549 thousand people are forced to idle by fault of the employer,” says Rosaviatsia.

The Agency reminds that the staff of “Transaero” there is an opportunity without loss of seniority or break in employment history find employment in group companies “Aeroflot” and in other Russian aviation companies and organizations.

The airline “Transaero” in September was in the verge of bankruptcy, forcing the state to look for options to save her. It was assumed that 75% + 1 share of the carrier will be sold “Aeroflot” at a symbolic price, but shareholders “Transaero” were not able to consolidate the required stake. As a result “Aeroflot” has refused the offer, and statements of relevant officials was to ensure that the option of bankruptcy of the airline seems to be the only one possible.

Later it became known that the co-owner of airline “Siberia” Vladislav Filev has signed an agreement to purchase Alexander Pleshakov at least 51% of the shares of the airline. The day after aviation authorities announced the recall of Transaero aircraft operator’s certificate from October 26. A little later, the shareholders of “Siberia” announced that it is withdrawing from the deal because A. Pleshakov was not able to consolidate the required stake.
