Swiss TAG Heuer introduced the very first watch on Android


Moscow. November 9. The Swiss company TAG Heuer in collaboration with Intel and Google introduced its first watch with advanced networking capabilities – TAG Heuer Connected, created based on Intel and Android Wear, is spoken in the message TAG Heuer.

The diameter of the watch case TAG Heuer Connected is 46 mm. They are made in the style of a traditional chronograph: the case, back and lugs are made from titanium (Grade 2), which provides lighter weight and greater resistance to external influences compared to steel or gold.

By default, the watch is attached textured rubber strap black with titanium buckle. Straps six other colors – red, blue, white, orange, green and yellow, sold separately. The Connected cost TAG Heuer is 1,400 Swiss francs (1350 euros).

Watches also provide access to most frequently used applications, Android, sports data or notifications. Apps have been specially adapted for TAG Heuer. These include Insiders (to support everyday activities), GolfShot Pro (Golf), RaceChrono Pro (motorsports) and Viewrangers (navigation service) that are offered in set free subscription. Specially designed kit for development kit (SDK) allows to create new applications.

In addition, TAG Heuer has added the usual functions that are an integral part of all clock: timer, alarm clock and stopwatch, which are made in traditional style.

Watch provide the different options of network connections, including streaming audio, Bluetooth Protocol and Wi-Fi. Owners of TAG Heuer also Connected will be able to use all the functionalities of the operating system Android Wear.

The novelty has 4 GB of memory and a battery of new generation, which ensures the operation of the device throughout the day. TAG Heuer watches Connected in a waterproof housing (protection class IP67) equipped with a miniature microphone to voice control and Google touch screen with sapphire glass. Opposite the numeral 3 on the dial is placed the crown with the controls.
