The MAYOR: Cuba and Russia analyze promising industrial projects

HAVANA, 9 Nov. Oleg Vyazmitinov. Russia and Cuba are considering a number of promising projects in the field of industry and railway transportation, said in an interview with first Deputy Minister of economic development of Russia Alexei Likhachev.

Thus, according to him, a kind of “anchor”, the priority projects are the construction of four power units at TPP “MAXIMO Gomez” and TPP “Eastern Havana”, as well as the modernization of metallurgical plant “Antillana de Acero. The task of the working group is to identify projects and to report on them in both governments, and to attract development institutions to develop mechanisms for their support, continued Likhachev.
